Bel Canto is an Italian opera term for "beautiful singing", while Kanone is German for "cannon".
Rarely, the name of this Midchildan spell contains Belkan language (i.e. German), probably due to the credit given by Chantez to Belkan knighthood, or it is developed from Ancient Belkan spells recorded in the Saint Church.
