Blast Calamity (ブラストカラミティ Burasuto Karamiti) is a mid-range joint attack spell cast by Nanoha Takamachi and Fate Testarossa, with Raising Heart Exelion's Exelion Mode and Bardiche Assault's Zanber Form.
The spell exterminates its effective area with a storm of bullets and mana currents, and has another name known as Exterminating Combination (殲滅コンビネーション Senmetsu Konbinēshon), being one of the "N&F Combinations" in addition to Buster Shift[2] (i.e. a joint attack arrangement using Divine Buster and Trident Smasher).
In the earlier canon, the spell is described as follows: A barrel field is first generated by Raising Heart, then Nanoha's mana is fed into Bardiche's blade. Fate uses their mana to release a blow of energy through a strike, followed by Nanoha's Buster and Fate's Smasher to fill the field.[3]
Notable uses[]
- The spell is first seen in the epilogue of A's manga, despite not clearly depicted.
- In The MOVIE 2nd A's, it is used to deal the final blow to the Will of the Book of Darkness after Hayate Yagami gains control over the Book.
- In Detonation, it is used to deal the final blow to Phil Maxwell.
