Coastal Airport 8 (臨海第8空港 Rinkai Dai 8 Kūkō) was an airport in Northern Mid-Childa.
Fire incident[]
As narrated in StrikerS manga and StrikerS, Coastal Airport 8 was the location of a large fire on April 29, 0071. The fire was a result of a risky artifact smuggling operation run by the Numbers and could barely be contained by the TSAB. Although not widely reported in the media, it was largely thanks to Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami's involvement in containing the fire that a major loss of life was prevented. Following the fire, the airport has been closed down.
Among people who nearly lost their lives in the incident were Subaru and Ginga Nakajima, who visited their father Genya, then stationed near the Airport. Subaru's rescue by Nanoha Takamachi became a major turning point in her life.
