Divide Zero "Eclipse" (ディバイドゼロ・エクリプス Dibaido Zero Ekuripusu) is a wide-area attack spell cast by Thoma Avenir with his Divider-996 and the Bible of Silver Cross. It is apparently a variation of the Divide Zero Bombardment spell.
The attack creates a huge Zero Effect which can stop the heart-beat of living beings, disable the Combat Cyborg electronics, and even break the React connection of Eclipse Drivers in a second, causing Wolfram and Esquad Hückebein to fall. Hayate Yagami describes the experience as having her life and magic (presumably referring to mana) instantly drained.[1]
Alternate continuities[]
This attack was also adopted in the Gears of Destiny as Thoma's Full Drive Burst, the attack which look similar to Divide Zero but with even huge Bombardment area. However, it is yet to be revealed that whatever this version is the same spell as the one cast in the Esquad Hückebein or not.
