Healing magic is commonplace in the Nanoha universe, from the basic Physical Heal spell to the advanced healing facilities of the Long Arch. Shamal, the chief of the latter, is in particular famous for her extremely potent healing abilities. Healing magic efficiently cleanses or purifies harmed mages' bodies, making it a very useful supporting magic.
Healing magic is not omnipotent, however. Even with magical healing, damage to internal organs or the Linker Core takes a long time to regenerate, and a lengthy rehabilitation afterwards is necessary for the wounded to regain physical fitness.[1]
