Hræsvelgr (フレースヴェルグ Furēsuverugu) is Hayate Yagami's super out-range bombardment spell. Once the beams fired reach a designated area, their energy compacts itself and explodes. This spell can be used to take down multiple enemies in different and distant locations.

As a super out-range attack, it requires extremely precise control and sighting that even exceed Hayate's own ability. Normally Reinforce Zwei can provide the relevant supports. In StrikerS episodes 11 to 12, as the control and sighting supports are provided by the Long Arch operators instead, in order to properly receive so, Hayate has modified the firing process. As a result, five Midchildan Circles are used as muzzles, despite its Ancient Belkan system.

The aria used for this spell (as shown in StrikerS) is: "Come forth, the wind of snow, and become the fletching which falls from the heavens."

The spell is named after Hræsvelgr, a giant from Norse mythology, whose name literally means "Corpse Swallower".

Notable usesEdit

Hayate casts Hræsvelgr in StrikerS (ep.11-12) to destroy multiple Gadget Drones in various distant locations.
