Mariya Ranevskaya (マリーヤ・ラネスカヤ Marīya Ranesukaya) is the "Sniper" of the Grendel family in Force.
Name[]
Mariya is probably named after the Russian battleship Imperatritsa Mariya (Rus: Императрица Мария). Ranevskaya (Rus: Раневская) is also a Russian family name.
In Force[]
Mariya was born in a destroyed city in somewhere in the Midchilda along with Kurt Grendel and Lolo Endive since childhood, as mentioned by Cinque Nakajima and Kurt himself.[1]
In Force (ch.22), Mariya attacks Special Duty Section 6 along other Grendel family members, but is knocked out by Isis Egret.
Powers[]
Mariya possesses an ability known as Snipe Bolt (狙撃弾 Sogekidan), which enables her to fire live ammo bullets grabbed between her fingers as guided bolts.[2] It is not known if the ability is granted by the Eclipse virus.
