It appears to be Nanoha's mid-range bombardment attack, comparing with cross-range Cross Smasher and long-range Divine Buster. However, the merits of this spell is yet to be described in details.

Judging by the spell's name, it may be an imitation or precursor spell of Fate Testarossa's Thunder Smasher, as it is fired from Raising Heart Exelion instead of firing from the palm like Plasma Smasher or Nanoha's own Strike Smasher.
Notable uses[]
During the team training battle in ViVid (ch.14) / ViVid anime (ep.06), Photon Smasher is cast by Nanoha against Einhard Stratos after her Axel Shooter. She is surprised to see that Einhard stops the Smasher with her the knuckles.
