Proto EM Sword (試作電磁剣 Shisaku Denji Ken, lit. Trial/Prototype Electromagnetic Sword) is a battery-driven EM Equipment manufactured for the Administrative Bureau by Caledfwlch Company in the movie continuity, co-developed by Caledfwlch and the Bureau's Technical Division.
Its designs are probably adapted from Gladiator originally introduced in Force.
Name[]
Its Japanese name is also rendered 試製電磁剣 Shisei Denji Ken.[1] Presumably, it is yet to be official named as it is only under the trial/experimental stage.

Alternate continuities[]
In the movie continuity, Proto EM Sword appears primarily in Reflection. It is mainly developed as an equipment for disaster rescues, e.g. to break barricades and secure paths.
In Reflection, it is still under the test-tool stage, but Signum takes the testing unit out of the Bureau due to urgency, when Nanoha Takamachi and Fate T. Harlaown confront Kyrie Florian.
Functions[]
Electromagnetic fracture mechanism is set on its blade, allowing it to decompose and break what it contacts.
