Shell Coat (シェルコート Sheru Kōto), is Cinque's Device-like Inherent Equipment in the shape of a grey overcoat, which grants her different defensive abilities.
Appearances[]
Shell Coat appears alongside Cinque in StrikerS, StrikerS manga and Sound Stage X.
In the artworks of Sound Stage X, Cinque is shown wearing Shell Coat on top of her common Ground Force Barrier Jacket. However it is not known if Shell Coat is upgraded to a Device.
Notably in Force, as a member of Special Duty Section 6, Cinque wears a different white coat on top of her Sailing Force uniform,[1] same as how Signum and Shamal do.[2] However, it is yet to know if Shell Coat will be equipped by Cinque in battles.
Functions[]
Shell Coat grants Cinque different defensive abilities, such as generating barriers (see Hard Shell).
