|Japanese name||スティード |
|First app.||Force (ch.1)|
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Steed may have been named after Honda Steed motorcycle line.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Steed appears primarily in Force.
Apparently, Steed possesses a very advanced artificial intelligence, as it is capable of coherent, grammatically correct Japanese conversations on par with most Unison Devices. However, it is incapable of receiving telepathic messages, as Lily has to discover in chapter 5. It also states that it is not good with handling heat (primarily referring to deflection of fire-based spells) in chapter 1.
Forms[edit | edit source]
Steed's active (primary) form is that of a small camera worn by Touma on a cord around his neck. Steed can, however, detach itself and float around Touma, using two halves of the cord to gesticulate as if they were hands.
Functions[edit | edit source]
|Apart from projecting images or lighting support, Steed is also capable of faraway scene-magnifying and sound-monitoring. Touma uses this function to spy on the military in the beginning of Force.||Force (ch.1) — present|
