Summoning magic (召喚魔法 Shōkan Mahō) is a spell category first introduced in StrikerS, although chronologically its first appearance is in "The Prologue of ACES". It specializes in conjuring living beings (e.g. dragons, insects) or inorganic matters (e.g. metals) to the summoner's aid. Since said conjuring often requires teleportation, if not dimensional transfer, summoners are commonly skilled in relevant transport magic, as well.[1]
Summoning ability is so scarce in modern times, it is considered a Rare Skill with Use of Summoning (召喚行使 Shōkan Kōshi) as the official skill name.
The Boost Devices seem to be associated with summoning magic.
