CW-AEC07X Sword Breaker (ソードブレイカー Sōdo Bureikā) is a magic-driven weapon manufactured for Special Duty Section 6's Subaru Nakajima by the Vaizen-based Caledfwlch Techniques in Force.[1] It makes its debut in Force NEXT Design 02 (accompanying chapter 6) before its first appearance in the series.
Etymology[]
The model designation of Sword Breaker, "CW-AEC07X", may stand for "Caledfwlch Anti-Eclipse Experimental Weapon 07". It was misprinted in Force NEXT Design 02 as CW-AECX07X and adjusted in the offprint volume.[2]
Forms[]
In its default form, Sword Breaker appears as a thin, elbow-high glove, which Subaru wears on her left arm, opposite to the Revolver Knuckle on her right.[1]
Functionality[]
Little is known about the functions of the Sword Breaker yet, except that it is a defense equipment for melee fighters.[1] It can be inferred, however, that like other AEC series equipment, it gives Subaru the ability to counter the magic-neutralizing effects, such as Zero Effect. It is powerful enough to heavily damage an EC Divider, as shown in the combat against Veyron of Hückebein's Divider-928 and Thoma's Divider-996.
