X[]
Wait, didn't the X in Sound Stage X stand for the fact that it was the tenth sound stage of the series? I'm confused. -GlancingReverse
- It's a pun, probably, so it means both. ^^ Similarly, ViVid refers both to the English expression "vivid memory" (each chapter is called "Memory N" instead of "Chapter N") and to Vivio. :) --Koveras Alvane 10:58, September 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Although... it can't be the tenth sound stage, since according to Wikipedia, StrikerS had only four regular sound stages and M3 before X. The entire series, on the other hand, had ten regular sound stages plus A's M and StrikerS M3 at that point. --Koveras Alvane 11:02, September 10, 2009 (UTC)
- Easy mistake to make. Anyone remember when Megaman X came out and how people thought the X meant ten instead of the character? As an aside, how do you edit the side-bar? There's a small mistake in Ix's first appearance (While Disc 2 was when we learned who she is, she first appeared in Disc 1, Track 14)--202.8.240.78 09:14, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
- If by "sidebar" you mean the character infobox, I'm fixing it now. ^^ --Koveras Alvane 16:55, October 11, 2009 (UTC)
Romanization[]
Why is her name romanized with a P, when the kana clearly call for a V? --97.117.159.51 03:11, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
- Valid point, I will research it. --Koveras Alvane (talk) 08:37, December 22, 2012 (UTC)
- Because when I wrote out the name in the translation, I put in 'p' rather 'v'. That and I thought it looked nicer with a 'p'. --Nagumo
- I must admit, I am baffled about the origins of Ixy's name. I couldn't find any car whose name sounded even remotely like "Ix(p|v)ellia", nor any other word (except geopelia but that's obviously not it). --Koveras Alvane (talk) 10:12, January 3, 2013 (UTC)
