Official English NameEdit

The correct official English name should be Rynith, as stated on The MOVIE 1st Official Guide and shown in The Gears of Destiny. "Sequence 07 Side R" is also used in the battle stages of GoD. Suggest to rename article. -K.Hayes 18:05, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

But the movie subtitles referred to her as "Linith". I was under the impression they were official... --Koveras Alvane 06:44, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
Mmm, but guidebook + game screen together makes it more official, which is the principle of wiki. If supportive images regarding the name are preferred, please let me know. -K.Hayes 15:51, December 29, 2011 (UTC)
FYI, the Official Guide was published far earlier than the subtitles in the DVD/BD (Jan-2010 vs. Nov-2010), so I think Rynith wins... lol -K.Hayes 05:02, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
But the DVD is available in the English speaking world (I hope), while the guide isn't (I suspect). Anyhow, Tsuzuki is probably gonna change his mind again in the second movie, so it's no use. --Koveras Alvane 09:34, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
Understand your point of view and the difficulty in amending articles, but does not agree with your last-mentioned reason, because except for the subtitles in question, multiple canonical sources of the © Nanoha PROJECT are consistently using Rynith (Side-R), Alph and Presea. May you kindly advise the officialness of the media bearing "Linith" in the subtitles (e.g. licensed reproduced DVD/BD in English-speaking countries; original Japanese region-2 DVD/region-A BD; or fan-translated subtitle tracks added to video)? My point of view is that, even if the official Japanese DVD/BD uses Linith in the subtitles, it should be understood as a mistranslation/mis-adoption by the DVD/BD production company, and should not override the canon set by the © Nanoha PROJECT teams (or Tsuzuki) far earlier in January 2010. -K.Hayes 17:08, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
Meh, go ahead. But don't mind me laughing the hardest the next time Tsuzuki changes his mind again. :) --Koveras Alvane 13:50, January 4, 2012 (UTC)
