Strike Arts[]

In The Gears of Destiny, Zafira notes that Vivio's stance shows the same roots as his Fists of the Guardian style. (Considering that he taught Nove, and Nove taught Vivio...)

The game is set several years before StrikerS, and does not seem set long enough after A's for Zafira to have learned a whole martial arts style. If he's not using Strike Arts before Gears of Destiny, he's at least using SOMETHING. --Sunder the Gold 01:50, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, he uses Fists of the Guardian style, isn't it...? There are 10 years time from A's to SrikerS, and also not necessary to learn a whole martial arts style, because Zafira & Miura are using Yagami-style Strike Arts in ViVid. --K.Hayes 03:15, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

Spells in the Games[]

I do not understand what the three names, arrows and JIT notation mean.

Also, preserving the information that was deleted. --Sunder the Gold 01:52, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

In addition to the spells confirmed above, Zafira shows a number of other tricks in The Gears of Destiny:

  • Shugo no Kobushi (Guard Fist), his long range Square button attack, which seems to be similar to Signum's Sturmwinde spell.
  • Rekkouga (Raging Steel Fang), his long range Triangle button attack. It is a projectile attack launched with a punch. As a beam, it might be classified as a Bombardment-type spell. When this attack is employed as an "EX-Guard" (i.e. just-in-time defense), he fires a second beam after the first with a follow-up punch (Raging Steel Assault Fang).
  • Gajuu Souha (Running Beast Fang), his long range Circle button attack. Essentially a flying kick that takes him into cross-range, where he employs Strike Arts for his attack combos.
JIT means just-in-time, aka. "just timing". The details are already included in the information you preserved. --K.Hayes 15:01, July 6, 2012 (UTC)
