Tao Raikaku (タオ・ライカク Tao Raikaku) is a domestic servant of the Spring Sunlight Fist Dojo in Leuven, first introduced in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid.
Name[]
The official spelling of her name is yet to be revealed. Tao, as first name, means peach in Chinese.
In ViVid[]
It is revealed in ViVid (ch.76) that Tao liked martial arts since childhood and was strong at another dojo, but she stopped practising after a past incident during a spar with Irene Hardin. She was then commended to Ray Tundra (Spring Sunlight Fist Dojo) afterwards.
In ViVid (ch.78), after completing the quest at Triple Rock Cavern, she is given by Rinna Tundra the upper-level apprentice uniform of Spring Sunlight Fist Dojo.
Powers[]
As commented by Mikaya Chevelle, Tao has very good reflexes (for magical martial arts). During the Triple Rock Cavern challenge, Rinna also comments that Tao is stronger than Corona Timil.
Tao can cast an innate manipulation spell known as Hair Possession to control and weaponize her hair, although the overloading of mana may drive her unconscious and uncontrollable.
