Telepathy (念話 Nenwa) is a magical ability of direct mind-to-mind communication in the Nanoha universe. All mages are capable of telepathy. The telepathic systems under different magic systems are similar, therefore communication between practitioners of different systems is possible.
In StrikerS (ep.23), it is revealed that the Numbers are able to intercept the content of a telepathic conversation, but not to jam it. It is unclear whether this ability is unique to them or all Combat Cyborgs have it.
Variations[]
- Telepathy (思念通話 Shinen Tsūwa) is the Ancient Belkan equivalent of the Midchildan one.[1]
- Wide Area Telepathy (広域念話 Kōiki Nenwa) is a variation to send a "public" message without defining a receiver, usually used for rescue invitation during emergency conditions.[2]
