Tsukinowa (月輪 Tsukinowa, lit. moon wheel) is a katana-drawing (batto) attack cast by Mikaya Chevelle in ViVid.
With reference to its name, it is a crescent-shaped horizontal slash attack. Apparently it is an attack to counter incoming combat attacks from an upward angle.
Name[]
Tsukinowa literally means moon ring or moon wheel, and is an archaic Japanese word the Moon.
Notable uses[]
In ViVid (ch.24) / ViVid anime (ep.09), Mikaya uses this attack on the approaching Miura Rinaldi in the Intermiddle Elite Class battle (group 4 first match), followed by Suigetsu Double, giving her over 10,000 points of damage.
