Voltz Stan (ヴォルツ・スターン Vorutsu Sutān) is a minor character who acts as Subaru Nakajima's superior in StrikerS Sound Stage X.

Name

He is named after Toyota Voltz.

In StrikerS

It has been retroactively revealed (in SSX) that he was one of the (unnamed) firefighters who contained the Coastal Airport 8 fire in StrikerS flashbacks. His heroic actions during this event earned him legendary status even within the Special Rescue Unit, but the burns he sustained at the time have rendered him unfit for operative work.

In Sound Stage X

Voltz is the Disaster Prevention Commander (防災司令 Bōsai Shirei) of the Gulf Special Rescue Unit and superior of Subaru.

He first makes his appearance in Sound Stage X early on, when he gives all authority and command to Teana Lanster for anything concerning the Mariage Incident, before what the Mariage are fully capable of is revealed. Voltz then makes another appearance to temporarily transfer Subaru Nakajima over to the group working on solving the Mariage Incident due to Subaru's accidental involvement in the case leading her to want to see it through to the end, after being emotionally troubled for a small amount of time since the Mariage had influenced its target into committing suicide right in front of the girl, which was the first death she witnessed.

Voltz appears briefly in ViVid (ch.8), when Subaru leaves on a trip.
